Sabine Müller

Sabine Müller is a scholar of literary and cultural studies at the Department of German Studies at the University of Vienna. Currently she is working on her habilitation thesis in literary studies. She is funded by a habilitation grant of the Austrian Science Fund FWF, which was preceded by a FWF-Postdoc-Grant (2013-2017). Between 2006 and 2012 she was researcher at the Institute of Culture Studies and Theatre History at the Austrian Academy of Sciences in Vienna. Currently she is director of the third-party-funded projects “Atlas of the Viennese Avant-Garde” and “Understanding democracy. Voicing collectivity in the long 19th century”. Her main areas of research are Austrian avant-gardes, German and Austrian literary and cultural history of the 20th century, literary and cultural theory.
